No single measurement tool will work for everyone ‘off-the-shelf ’. Instead, each partner should take a strategic approach to develop a simple measurement methodology that’s appropriate to its needs and goals. You might consider the following goals and key considerations:

  • How many sales leads do you wish to generate?
  • The tighter the goals, the better your chances of achieving them.
  • How many new business contacts do you wish to meet?
  • Make how many new appointments?
  • Establishing SMART goals (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and timebound) is probably the single most important thing you can do before every event.

Next will be preparing the team to meet them, and assigning specific roles for the Summit.
