Nothing, of course, is quite as it should be – and normality (whatever that is going forward) seems tantalising within our grasp and yet still a step or two away.

Our production schedule for Centrum has, like many things in life these days, had to remain flexible so we’ve ended up with an issue right in time for summer - and it contains plenty of great articles to dip into on your (domestic) sun lounger…hopefully!

The timing does, however, mean that whilst we’re working hard behind-the-scenes on our autumn events programme, we are still to confirm topics, dates, and speakers. Rest assured, we’ll be letting you know about sessions, workshops, and roundtable events just as soon as we have them ready.

Personally, I believe there is no substitute for – as they say in Hamilton – being “in the room where it happened”. But we are beyond grateful to all our contributors who’ve given so generously of their time these past months to take our acclaimed events programme online. And, at a time, when we have been only too aware every single one of us has had our own demands to address and challenges to face. Do take a look at what we’ve been up to this year.

Keep an eye out because we have some great ideas and content in the planning. And, as always, if you have an idea for an event theme or would like to present or join a roundtable discussion, do please get in touch.

We don’t need to rehearse the reasons why our calendar of events hasn’t been looking itself of late. We hope many of you have enjoyed our programme of webinars over the past year but, like you, we know that once the “novelty” wears off there really is no substitute for simply getting in a room with fellow professionals. We’re keeping a close eye on what we’re doing with our events and, of course, in parallel with social distancing guidelines.
